“I am a man who has crossed the ‘minefields’ of migration not by a map, but through my own lived experience. For over 20 years, I have been fighting the system to defend human dignity. As someone who has endured refugee camps and every circle of bureaucracy, I speak your language.
The endurance of a professional athlete, the discipline of special forces, and a quarter-century of standing against the system have forged me into the man you see before you. Today, I declare with pride: I stood between the hammer and the anvil, but I did not break — I was tempered.
I have survived two emigrations. The first was in the 1990s, when the system repressed my family; the second was the price I paid for my love of freedom and my fight for the rule of law. Throughout this journey, I have survived assassination attempts and years of persecution that did not cease even here in Switzerland. Repeated attempts were made to initiate criminal proceedings against me to break my will and tarnish my name. But Swiss justice — represented by the Office of the Attorney General of the Canton of Bern and the High Court of the Canton of Bern — fully dismissed the case. I am deeply grateful to my attorney, Daniel Schütz, one of Switzerland’s most distinguished lawyers, who represented my interests and defended my reputation throughout these proceedings. I am clean before the law and, above all, before my own conscience.
