BERN, Switzerland — The Federal Supreme Court of Switzerland (Bundesgericht) has issued a final ruling, dismissing a lawsuit against Luciano Shirvani (Lachin Mamishov), an international law expert and human rights specialist. This large-scale attempt to accuse him of “inciting hatred” has utterly failed, confirming the legality of his actions and his impeccable standing before the law.
Victory Over Organized Pressure A collective lawsuit was filed against Luciano Shirvani, initiated by 21 Russian citizens from three different European countries. The motive for this coordinated attack was the publication of a video depicting the explosion on the Crimean Bridge, accompanied by an analytical commentary. Despite unprecedented pressure from pro-Russian groups, Swiss justice stood by Shirvani. The Prosecution and the Federal Supreme Court ruled that:
-
Shirvani’s publications constitute a form of analytical judgment and do not contain elements of a crime.
-
The expert’s actions were entirely devoid of calls for violence or the incitement of hostility.
Professional Status and Heritage Contrary to incorrect statements in various media outlets referring to Luciano Shirvani as a “Chechen activist,” he is a native of Azerbaijan (from the ancient city of Shamakhi) and a descendant of a prominent noble lineage. His activities regarding the Chechen Republic of Ichkeria are strictly legal and diplomatic in nature. Shirvani is a participant in the preparation of evidence for the International Criminal Court (ICC) concerning acts of genocide and war crimes.
Security and Protection Due to organized harassment, repeated threats, and assassination attempts, Luciano Shirvani is officially under the protection of Swiss law enforcement agencies. His victory in the highest court against a group of 21 plaintiffs solidifies his status as a “shield” for those who stand against systemic aggression and defend the truth.
“This ruling by the Supreme Court is proof that even against a coordinated systemic attack, truth and the law remain steadfast. I am clean before the law of Switzerland and before my own conscience,” Shirvani emphasized.
